Overview

Registered in February 2005, MFDI(TZ) is the newest branch office of the Media for Development family of media organizations.

With offices in the United States and Zimbabwe, MFDI has pioneered the use of film and radio as tools for social change in Africa. Our multiple award-winning films, including Consequences (1988), Neria (1990), More Time (1993), Everyone’s Child (1996) and Yellow Card (2000), are among the most widely seen and used films across Africa.

MFDI(TZ) programs supplement the work of development agencies, schools, hospitals, faith based organizations, the government and other institutions by providing them with comprehensive and engaging educational tools to use in the field.
